4.1 Service Delivery
We use your booking details to arrange your vehicle, assign a qualified driver, calculate routes, and deliver your journey safely and on time. Flight numbers are used to monitor live flight data and adjust pickups to avoid unnecessary waiting.

We use your contact information to send booking confirmations, driver assignment notifications, estimated arrival updates, journey receipts, and any necessary changes to your booking. Communications are delivered via email, WhatsApp, or SMS, depending on your preferences.
4.3 Customer Support
We use your information to handle booking amendments and cancellations, respond to complaints, and assist with lost property enquiries.

Your billing information is used solely to process your payment. Financial data is passed securely to our payment processor and is never stored on Nakdar's own servers. See Section 5.3 for details.
4.5 Safety & Legal Compliance
We may retain or disclose information where required to comply with Jamaican law, respond to lawful government or law enforcement requests, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the safety of drivers, passengers, or the public.
4.6 Website Analytics
Aggregated and anonymised usage data from Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors interact with our website, allowing us to improve booking flows and content. This data does not personally identify individual visitors.
4.7 Marketing (with Your Consent)
We may occasionally send service updates, promotional offers, or seasonal information via email or WhatsApp broadcast. We will only do so where you have provided consent, and you may opt out at any time. See Section 10.2.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to deliver your booked service or where we are legally required to do so.
5.1 Subcontractors & Affiliate Fleets
Where demand requires, we may engage vetted external executive drivers or affiliated transport operators to fulfil your booking. In such cases, we share only the minimum information necessary: your name, pick-up and drop-off location, date/time, and passenger count. All subcontractors are required to treat your data with the same confidentiality standards that apply to Nakdar directly.
5.2 Communication Platforms
We use third-party email servers and the WhatsApp Business API to send booking confirmations and updates. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
5.3 Payment Gateway
Your payment card details and financial information are transmitted securely to our third-party payment processor using industry-standard encryption. Nakdar does not receive, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials at any time.
5.4 Analytics Providers
We use Google Analytics to monitor website performance. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data via cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may disclose personal data to government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement bodies where required or permitted by Jamaican law or applicable international legal obligations.
6. GPS & Vehicle Tracking
Where GPS tracking technology is installed in our vehicles, such tracking is used solely for operational and safety purposes — including route verification, estimated arrival notifications, and emergency response. Trip location data is not shared with any third party except as required by law or for safety reasons, and is deleted in accordance with our retention schedule described in Section 7.

7.2 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:

Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is protected to a standard consistent with the JDPA and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent legislation in your home country.

If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that we correct it.
10.4 Right to Erasure
You may request that we delete your profile, contact history, and booking data. We will fulfil such requests subject to the following limitations:

10.6 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of the above rights, please submit a written request to the contact details provided in Section 12. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
If you are unsatisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information Commissioner of Jamaica.

Our booking services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Where minors are included in a group booking, only the lead passenger's contact information is processed.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data relating to a child, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
